We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your generous support through 2007! It has been a busy year and September saw the completion of our first school in Bumala, Kenya, providing school to over 90 orphans at the Mercy Children's Centre. We were also able to provide uniforms, desks, textbooks, food, play equipment, field trips, and income support to the children and their teachers.

Much of our rapid progress in 2007 was due to the success of our First Annual Supper and Silent Auction fundraising event in March as well as through the ongoing support from you, our donors and volunteers. With your continued support, we hope to continue this success into 2008 with two additional Spring fundraising events - the Second Annual Supper and Silent Auction as well as a Benefit Concert at Festival Place in Sherwood Park. Please stay tuned for the exciting details of these events and more in our Newsletter due out in January.
