OUR OBJECTS

One Child’s Village supports the principle aims of the Millennium Development Goals and seeks to play an active role up to and beyond its effective term in promoting peace, democracy, human rights, and improved living conditions with particular emphasis on developing and supporting orphanages for children who have been affected or effected by HIV/AIDS and/or disadvantaged in other ways. In particular, we seek:

• To relieve poverty in developing nations by providing the basic necessities of food, shelter, clothing, education and healthcare to orphans and children affected by HIV/AIDS;

• To advance education in developing nations by supporting orphaned children with school uniforms and school supplies; and

• To educate the public about the developing world through class lectures, the Internet and print material, including educating the public about those affected by HIV/AIDS.
