Currently, all of our projects centre on helping children orphaned by HIV/AIDS. We assist two schools run by Mercy Children's Centre: one in the Kawagware slum of Nairobi and the other in the rural village of Bumala in western Kenya.
Projects initiated in 2009:

1.) |
To continue to provide for basic educational and health needs of 220 orphans in Bumala and 110 orphans in Kawangware; |

2.) |
To expand the Bumala campus by purchasing additional land to grow crops; |
| |
3.) |
To develop a volunteer program for people interested in lending their time and talent to the orphans while visiting the Mercy Centre schools in Kenya; |

4.) |
To provide an electricity hook-up at the Bumala school to increase security, enhance educational capabilities and promote possibilities for income generation. |

5.) |
To foster the schools' sustainability through income-generation projects, e.g., computer lab, sewing services, hall rental; |
| |
6.) |
To support the caretakers of the orphans through our 'Head Start' program. |
