One student wrote in a reflection:

At least for me, my voice is my way of expressing myself and influencing others. Taking that away from me would erase my footprint on this earth. Today for me was a symbol of greater change and awareness for one of the many taxing issues that kids across the world face. Here in Edmonton, it would be a completely different world for me if I was voiceless and had no freedom or opportunity.

Week 3

"Balloon Lottery"
Grade 11's organized a Balloon Lottery to boost their results. In two days, they raised over $250 and are now in second place!!! However, Mr. Yonge’s Physical Education grade 10 class has vowed to dominate ANY grade level class by raising $500 or more on condition that Mr. Yonge then runs around the school in a bikini! The competition is heating up!
