One Child's Village in Kenya

This video was created for the 3rd Annual Supper & Silent Auction hosted by One Child's Village (April 2009). The video features our response to the plight of children orphaned by HIV/AIDS in poverty-stricken areas of Kenya. The footage was taken during our most recent visit to the Mercy Children Centre schools in Kawangware and Bumala (February 2009). Co-managing Director Cristelle Audet interviews Charles Ouma Uduor (Director of Mercy Children Centre) on how the children cope with poverty, hunger and discrimination. We end by celebrating our collaborative efforts which foster hope at the school and within the community of Bumala.
