During our visit to the Mercy Children Centre school in Bumala, Kenya (June 27, 2007) it was important to Charles Ouma Uduor (Director of Mercy Children Centre) that we accompany him to the homes of some of the children to see how they live.
This clip shows a glimpse of daily life of one of the young students. She lives with her grandmother along with several siblings. As Charles interviews the grandmother, we learn about how she manages to provide for the children after their parents' death. And we are left with an overwhelming sense of generousity amidst poverty... |
