Hello!

​

My name is Gail Nowlan and I am championing The Nina Project within One Child's Village. 

​

I have over 20 years experience in non profits and have served in local government as well as been active on over 15 board of directors.  

​

In late 2022, my daughter Nina came to me and asked if we could put together some first aid kits for her friends that self harm.  I said of course but asked she give me a few days as I had another idea.  I got some friends together and we formed an Alberta Society.  We have now (Sept 2024) shipped almost 400 kits throughout Alberta.

​

When this opportunity came up to join One Child's Village, I was very excited to complement their programs with an Alberta project and look forward to seeing where we can help meet the unmet mental health needs of today's youth together.
